    Knoblock worked for Blair Brothers, People’s Home Corporation and Commonwealth Company in Tulsa. He left Tulsa in 1939 for Washington D.C. where he became Chief of the Architectural Engineering Branch of the G.S.A. and was responsible for the production of architectural specifications for all of the federal buildings erected by the G.S.A. He was associated with a group of architects who remodeled the White House during the Truman administration.
